2.04.10 VEGETATION INFORMATION <br />The enclosed letters from the Colorado Natural Heritage Inventory <br />discuss the possibility of any threatened or endangered plant <br />species to be affected 6y the operation. <br />The vegetation information has been slightly altered far this <br />permit renewal application. <br />Information provided by the Soil Conservation Service including <br />the SCS Vegetation Map, Map 10, has been removed. The SCS <br />baseline information was updated by NUS Corporation during the <br />first permit term and, with additions, satisfies the requirements <br />of 2.04.10. <br />• Inadequacies in the NU5 vegetation survey were corrected by an <br />addendum (enclosed) and Woody Plant Density Calculations <br />(enclosed). It was agreed between MLRD and NUS (meeting on <br />i1-1-82) that, due to prior mining, reference areas would not be <br />required. <br />Map plates in the NUS report have been re-Tabled Maps 8, 9 and 10 <br />and are now included in the maps volume of this permit. <br />The approved revegetation plan is based upon the adequacy of the <br />vegetation baseline data. <br />L.J <br />215 <br />
