This pond was included in the permit prior to the December 1987 <br />amendment of.lhe permit. The pond was to be removctl during the 1987 reclamation activities of the mine <br />site, however, the pond was not removed at that time and is still in existence as it was originally constructed. <br />For your review and analysis, we have attached a copy of the previous permit indicating the location and <br />monitoring requirements for the pond. Also attached is the pond certification for the structure which was <br />approved by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division. <br />Should you have questions or need additional information concerning this pond or the filing for an <br />amendment, please do not hesitate to let me know.
