CASE NARRATIVB <br />Samples were prepared and analyzed according to methods outlined in the <br />following references: <br />o Methods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes, USEPA 600/4-79-020, <br />March 1983. <br />o Guidelines Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants, <br />40 CFR, Part 136, 7-1-94 Edition. <br />o Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 17th Edition, <br />1989. <br />Problems encountered with the analyses are discussed in the following narrative. <br />The analytical holding times for pH and settleable solids were exceeded prior to <br />laboratory receipt. The client was informed, and the laboratory was told to <br />proceed with analysis. <br />
