Long <br /> Division Director <br />RE: Discharge Monitoring Reports for 2001, New Elk Mine, #C-81-012 <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology did not receive copies of Discharge Monitoring <br />Reports for the fourth quarter of 2001 for the New Elk mine (CDPS permits COG- <br />310069 and CO-0000906). <br />Rule 4.05.13(2)(a)(iii) requires discharge monitoring reports to be filed with the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology within the same time period as required by the NPDES permit <br />or, a letter identifying the State or Federal government official with whom the reporting <br />form was filed to meet NPDES permit requirements and the date of filing. <br />Please submit the necessary information for the fourth quarter 2001 within 30 days. <br />Future submittal of this information should be within the same timeframe as required by <br />your NPDES permits. <br />If you have any questions, please call me. <br />Sic ely, <br />Ke t A.
