IV. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br />The following identifies enforcement actions taken during this inspection, the required <br />abatement and date of abatement for the violation, previous violations still requiring abatement <br />and the termination of violations cited during previous inspections. <br />The Grassy Gap Mine permit and reclamation bond have been forfeited to the Colorado Division of Minerals <br />and Geology. The DMG performs repairs and maintenance of the site using remaining reclamation liability <br />bond monies. Maintenance of the site was performed in October 1999 by DMG consisting of construction of <br />several rolled dip water bars on Pit 4 road and Pit 2/3 road. Repairs to the Pit 4 pond were conducted as well. <br />No new enforcement actions have been initiated as a result of this inspection. <br />NOTE: Attach appropriate VIOLATIONS or CESSATION ORDER CODING FORMS <br />Revised 2/97 <br />m:\coal\share\forms\8101 <br />
