Dave Trappett of my staff inspected the area of the proposed <br />change on the same day. The proposed variance would allow the <br />disturbed surface to be returned approximately to a 2:1 elope. As a <br />result of the discussion and inspection I have no objections to the <br />proposed variance providing the following stipulations are applied to <br />the variance as conditions of approval: <br />1. With the exception of the AOC variance, mining plan reclamation <br />requirements will remain unchanged. <br />2. The final graded slope will be approximately a 2:1, as shown on <br />Figure 3.1-2 of the application. The variance will apply to the <br />shaded area and that area enclosed by shading on Figure 3.1-2. <br />3. The final graded slope wlll blend with the adjacent natural <br />terrain. <br />• <br />
