PART I <br />Page 7 <br />Permit No. CO-0038776 <br />A. TERDIS AND CONDITIONS <br />5. Commliance Schedule -Salinity Report (continued) <br />The permittce shall specifically address a minimum of three fortes of treatment and/or containment for each point. The <br />report shall describe in detail each form of treatment/containment, the associated construction costs, the annual operating <br />costs, [he ezpceled resulting salt loading that would result from such treatment/containment, a description of how solids <br />removed would be disposed of to prevent reentering surface or ground waters and other information pertinent to a <br />demonstration of the impractibility of salt removal. The permittce shall indicate which option is the preferred option. <br />The Division will review this report. If the Division determines that it is economically infeasible to construct salt <br />removal/minimization facilities, no further action shall be required. If the Division determines that such constmction is <br />necessary, the permit tray be reopened [o make appropriate modifications. <br />No later than 14 calendar days following each date identified in the above schedule of compliance, the permittce shall <br />submit either a report of progress or, in the case of specific actions being required by identified dates, a written notice of <br />compliance or noncompliance, any remedial actions taken, and the probability of mceting the next scheduled <br />requirement. <br />In any case in which a compliance schedule has been timely submitted, failure to obtain the Division's approval shall not <br />be considered a violation of the permit unless the Division shows that absence of approval or disapproval has resulted <br />from the failure of the permittce to furnish information reasonably required or requested in order to process the <br />compliance schedule. <br />B. MONTTORBVG REQUII2EMENTS <br />1. Freauencv and Sample Tyge <br />In order to obtain an indication of the probable compliance or noncompliance with the efFluent limitations specified in <br />Part I.A.I, the permittce shall monitor all efFluent parameters at the following frequencies. Such monitoring will begin <br />immediately and last for the life of the permit unless otherwise noted.
