2. Chance in Disrharfe
The permittee shag notify the Division, in writing, of any planed physical alterations or additions to the permitted
facility. Notice is required only when:
a. The alteration or addition could significantly change the trature or increase the quantity or pollutanu discharged; or
b. The alteration or addition results in a significant change in the permittee's sludge use or duposal practices, and such
alteration, addition, or change may jus[ify the application of permit conditions that are different from or absent in
the ettisting permit, including ~tification of additions{ ux or disposal sits not reponed pursuant to an approved
land applicazion plan.
The permittee shall give advance notice [o the Division of any planned changes in the permitted facility or activity which
may result in noncompliance with permi[ requirements.
Whenever notification of any planned physical alterazions or additions to the permitted facility is required pursuant to this
section„ the permittee shall furnish the Division such plans and specifitatioas which the Division deems reasonably
necessary to evaluate the effect on the discharge, the stream, or ground wazer. If the Division fords that such new or
altered d'~ve might be inconsistent with the conditions of the permi[, the Division shall require a new or revised
permit application and shall follow the procedures specified in Sections 6.6.0 through 6.7.0, and 6.16.0 of the
Regulations for the State Discharge Permit System.
