governmental or private entities as may be necessary to mine, handle, store, transport or sell the limestone. Lessee shall be solely responsible foc these efforts; however, CF6I agrees to support Lessee in any and all such endeavors upon Lessee's request, subject to CFfiI's right as the owner of said non- patented mining claims to require proper mining and reclamation of the Premises. (b) Prior to filing with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, or any other public agency, for approval thereby, any mining plan, reclamation plan or permit applica- tion which covers the Premises, or any portion thereof, or which covers lands other than the Premises to be mined by Les- see but which relates to or will in any manner affect the Prem- ises, Lessee shall submit to CF6I a copy of such mining plan, reclamation plan or permit application for its review and prior approval. 7.3 Laws. Lessee shall mine, operate and reclaim the Premises in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal statutes and regulations specifically including, but not limited, to, the reclamation laws for the State of Colorado and on request of CFGI, Lessee shall furnish supporting evi- dence of such compliance. At all times, Lessee shall secure its reclamation obligation with a valid surety or warranty in the amount required by law, which reclamation obligation shall survive the expiration or termination of this Lease. If at any time during the primary term or renewal terms of this Lease, Lessee, its agents, successors, contractors or assigns, is found to be in violation of any applicable local, state or federal laws or regulations, with respect to Lessee's opera- tions on the Premises, such violation shall be cured by Lessee, at no cost or expense to CF&I. Failure to so cure may result in termination of this Lease in accordance with Section X. be- low. 7.4 Insurance. (a) At its sole expense, Lessee shall purchase and shall maintain at all times the following insurance protection covering the parties hereto in connection with all activities conducted pursuant to this agreement: (i) Comprehensive Gen- eral Liability and Property Damage Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 combined single limit; (ii) Statutory Workmen's Com- pensation and Occupational Disease Disability Insurance; (iii) Employer's Liability insurance in the amount of $500,000 each occurrence; (iv) Automobile Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 combined single limit. (b) Lessee shall furnish to CFSI evidence of such insurance coverages in the form of the insuring company's Cer- -4-
