Trucks hauling from TT #1 to the waste pile travel approximately .34 of a mile on a gravel road
treated with magnesium chloride and watered twice a week, and then travel the same paved road and
gravel access road to the waste pile as from crushing and screening. Two trucks hart waste rock no more
than an equivalent of two 8-hour days per week, keeping traffic to a minimum.
B. Waste Disposal Area
The waste area is approximately 2.5 acres in size and the related facilities cover an additional 1 acre area.
When first constructed, the entire 2.5 acre waste disposal area will be exposed. As future compacted
waste rock lifts and soil berms with 2:1 outside slopes are constructed, the exposed surface area will
decrease.
All berms, subsoil piles, topsoil stockpiles, the pond, and ditches will be fertilized and seeded this fall
(19841.
