Long <br /> D it isinn Director <br />RE: Transfer of Wells, Basin Resources, Inc., #C-81-011 <br />Dear Mr. Lopez: <br />The Division has recieved 4 requests to allow test holes to be left <br />open on certain properties in the Rancho Escondido Subdivision for <br />later use as a water well. <br />The Division only has the authority to transfer an exploratory well <br />or monitoring well for use as a water well as per Rule 4.05.14. <br />Assuming there is or will soon be a completed water well on these <br />properties, the property owners must obtain a well permit from the <br />State Engineer in accordance with C.R.S. 37-90-138, 37-90-137, or <br />37-92-602. <br />Therefore, until such time as a well is established and a permit is <br />obtained, Basin Resources will be required to proceed with their <br />exploration as per the approved plan. <br />Please do not invite landowners to make requests for the transfer <br />of wells prior to obtaining a well permit. <br />Also, your address list for landowners is outdated <br />a updated list immediately. <br />If you have questions, please call me. <br />Si rely~n <br />UV" <br />K nt A.
