Data from this location were available for a period of record from January 1990 through <br />September 1994. Data were also used from USGS water quality station 09169500 (Dolores River at <br />Bedrock) located approximately three miles upstream of the aforementioned confluence, and <br />covering a period of record from October 1995 through April 1997. Although these data reflect <br />ambient water quality in the Dolores River after the confluence of the dischazges of the Cotter <br />Corporation, in the absence of other neazby comparable data, these data are used as a conservative <br />estimate of upstream ambient water quality.
