Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Notice to Parties and Interested Persons to the Wattenberg West New Application Naturel Resource rmstre <br />RE: Pre-hearing Conference and Formal Public Hearing for Asphalt Paving Company, Wattenberg <br />West Sand and Gravel, File No. M-2005-066 <br />Dear Party and/or Interested Person: <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) has received objections to the application for the <br />Wattenberg West New 112c Application (File No. M-2005-066) submitted by Asphalt Paving Company. <br />Comments and objections have been forwarded to Asphalt Paving Company. <br />A Pre-hearing Conference has been scheduled to occur on April 24, 2006, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado. Ms. Sandra Brown will <br />preside as Pre-hearing Conference Officer. The purpose of the Pre-hearing Conference is to describe the Office's <br />review process, to explain the rights and responsibilities of parties, to discuss and resolve issues to the extent <br />possible, to describe the Board Hearing processes, to determine the list of issues under the Board's jurisdiction <br />and to simplify the list, and to determine who has demonstrated standing to be a party to the Formal Board <br />Hearing. <br />Staff has scheduled the matter for Formal Public Hearing before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />The hearing on the application for the Wattenberg West New 112c permit will occur during the Mav 10-11, 2006 <br />Board meeting at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, Colorado, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on May 10'" or <br />9:00 on May 11'" or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered.
