<br />EXHIBIT- C Mining Plan <br />1. Mining will commence approximately September 1987. Life of <br />mine will depend upon demand. Estimation 25 years plus. <br />2. Topsoil is very minimal at this site. Current stock pile <br />200 cubic yards ±. Estimate 1000 additional yards through out <br />mining operation. Stockpile areas shown on map. Soil Conservation <br />Service recommends 1/2 pound per acre Sand Dropseed broadcast by hand <br />and raked in, seeding done in late June or early July for temporary <br />seeding. <br />3. No waste rock or overburden will be encountered at this site. <br />4. Deposit will be mined on one 20 foot level. <br />5. All areas shown on map. <br />6. Pit will be approximately 400' long and 300' wide ulti- <br />mately. All other areas shown on map. <br />7. Existing road is 20'± wide , which is sufficient to accomo- <br />date our needs. There will be no improvements. <br />8. There will be no water used in mining operations. <br />9. This being an existing pit and located near the top of a <br />plateau there appears to be no water problems. If water is encountered, <br />it would be contained in impoundment shown on map. <br />10. No water rights will be interfered with. <br />11. Our main crushing and screening facility is located ins' <br />Canon City. If it should become necessary to process on site, <br />this would be accomplished with a portable crushing plant for short <br />periods of time. <br />12. Blasting at this site will cause no problems to any•struc- <br />tures, other than the impoundment shown on the map there a4~e no <br />other structures within one mile. Also we are regularly inspected <br />by MSHA. <br />•~ 13. Land owners are Dave and Kathy Tonsing, Weetcliffe, CO. <br />They own all adjapent property as well as permit area. Copy of <br />executed lease included. <br /> <br /> <br />
