Also attached
is the Biomonitoring report from the SeaCrest Group dated April 14, 2003, for Outfa11017.
The dischazge from Outfa11017, was pumped just long enough to collect a biomonitoring sample to
show the spontaneous disappeazance of the biomonitoring failure in October 2002. There was no other
dischazge from the underground sump (017) for the second quarter 2003. The mine water was retained
in the sump in anticipation of drought-like conditions this year.
Should you or your staff have questions or need additional information concerning these Discharge
Monitoring Reports, please contact me at (970) 929-2238.
Si ly,
enry be
Environmental Engineer
Enclosures; NPDES Forms (DMRs) for 2nd Quarter 2003
cc: James Burnell - CDMG
E.
