Walther <br />Execwrve D~reaor <br />Michael8 Long <br />Drvis~on D~~eaor <br />The Division of Minerals and Geolog~ has reviewed the Sediment Pond Reports for the <br />Rimrock Strip Mine for the 1 S` and 2" quarters of 1999 submitted by Greg Lewicki and <br />Associates. <br />These reports comply with the requirements of Rule 4.05.6(13) for inspection of <br />sediment ponds. Also included were the analytical results of a water sample taken <br />during the 2n° quarter from the pond water resident in the structure at the time of the <br />inspection. The Division concurs with Mr. Lewicki's assessment that the water quality is <br />suitable for the intended use of livestock and wildlife water. <br />We have no further questions at this time.
