<br />1.2 RECEIVING STREAMS <br />Potential dischazges would be to a small tributary of Roan Creek. This tributary and Roan <br />Creek at its confluence are in Segment 13 of the Lower Colorado River Basin, Region 11. <br />Segment 13 is classified for the following uses: <br />- Use Protected Recreation Class 2 <br />- Aquatic Life Warm Class 2 <br />- Agriculture. <br />The list of standards which have been assigned with this classification are found in <br />Classifications and Numeric Standazds for the Lower Colorado River Basin (5 CCR 1002-8), <br />as amended September 7, 1993. There are no inorganic or metals standards for Segment 13 of <br />the bower Colorado River Basin. <br />The next downstream segment with numeric standazds is Segment 2 of the Lower Colorado <br />River Basin, which includes the mainstem of the Colorado River at i[s confluence with Roan <br />Creek. Segment 2 is classified for the following uses: <br />- Recreation Class 1 <br />- Aquatic Life Warm Class 2 <br />- Agriculture <br />- Water Supply. <br />Both inorganic and metals standards have been established for Segment 2 of the Lower <br />Colorado River. <br />1.3 PLAN ORGANIZATION <br />This water monitoring and data analysis plan is organized in to 3 sections <br />• Monitoring Plan. The identification and frequency of sampling location, data <br />collection procedures and the analytical parameters run on each sample will be <br />detailed. <br />4 <br />
