FOOTYOTES - APPLICABLE TO P.RECEDIYG ?AGES <br />a/ - The thirty C90) day average shall be determined by the arit`:metlc <br />mean of three (3) samples collected in separate calendar Wee;cs during <br />a thirty (30) consecutive-day period with a minimum of 20 days <br />occurring between the first and last sample days. <br />b/ - The seven C7) day average shall be determined by the arithmetic mean <br />of a minimum of three samples taken on separate days is a seven (7) <br />day period. <br />e/ - This limitation shall be determined by a single sample as required by <br />Part I.B. Sample Type. <br />d_! - When the measurement frequency indicated is quarterly, the samples <br />shall be collected during March, Juae, September and December, if a <br />continual discharge occurs. If the discharge is intermittent, then <br />samples shall be collected during the period that discharge occurs. <br />If the permittee, using the approved analytical methods, monitors any <br />parameter more frequently than required by this permit, then the <br />results of such monitoring shall be included is the calculation and <br />reporting of the values required Sn the Discharge Monitoring Report <br />Form or other forms as required by the Division. Such increased <br />frequency shall also be indicated. <br />e/ - Definitions of Sample Type <br />1. A 'composite" sample, for mvnitoriag requirements, is a minimum <br />of four (4) grab samples collected at equally spaced tsra C2) hour <br />intervals sad proportioned according to floe. <br />2. A "grab' sample, for monitoring requirements, is a single "dip <br />sad take" sample. <br />-. 3. An "iastaataneous" measurement, for monitoring requirements, is a <br />. A "continuous" measurement, for floe monitoring requirements, is <br />j a measurement obtained from an automatic recording device which <br />continually measures floe. <br />5.
