Dam Construction:
Between July 8, through July 26, 2004, a MWH CQA Field Engineer made 5 trips to Seneca Coal's Pond
11 A Construction Site to perform Nuclear Density Testing on the structural fill being placed to build the
Pond 1 I A dam. Nuclear density gauge (Troxler) testing took place at random times and locations
throughout the entve construction phase. A total of 13 tests were taken during dam construction. See the
attached testing data sheet for specific test dates and results. All tests exceeded the required 95%
compaction of Standazd Proaore (ASTM D698).
