f • <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Site Description <br />As per the attached commments from the Soil Conservation Service <br />the present site is comprised of tertiary volcanic outcrop on the north <br />end and a flatter area to the south which has historically been used for <br />plant sites and stockpile areas. The soils in area are very shallow <br />over bedrock in most of the area. Soil depths range from 0 to 16 <br />inches. <br />Existing vegetation consists mainly of Indian ricegrass, Rabbit <br />brush, Sand drop seed, and Ribes. Other species present e <br />Four wing saltbrush, Juniper, Scazlet globe mallow, Sa Blue <br />grammes, Prickly pear, Yucca, and Squirrel tail. <br />The site is an existing pit permitted under permi No. M-86-118. <br />Wildlife visiting or living on the site consists o nongame birds <br />small mammals, and waterfowl. No critical or endangered s <br />habitats exist on the site. Attached are the comments from the <br />Division of wildlife concerning the site. <br />No significant structures other than fences are located within 200 <br />feet of the pit limits. <br />
