The small pond in the southwest portion of the site will be a locatiori for
wetlands mitigation. A portion of the faz north end of the lazge lake will also provide area for
wetlands mitigation.
Topsoils from the existing wetland areas to be disturbed will be removed to a minimum depth of
12 inches. These soils wIIl be stockpiled separately from the other topsoil at the site. This
wetland soil contains many roots, tubers and seeds and will be rued to revegetate the replacement
wetland areas. This method of wetland revegetatioa is an accepted practice by the Corps of
Engineers. It is not anticipated that additional seeding of the wetland azeas will be necessary.
I hope this adequately addresses the wncem regarding the wetland mitigation and any potential
bonding for that azea. Please call if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,
TUTTLE APPLEGATE, INC.
P~me .
