Exhibit D
CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
LIlVIITED IMPACT (1 i0) OPERATION
RECLAMATION PERMIT PACKAGE
T-BONE STONE (APPLICANT)
EXHIBIT D-RECLAMATION PLAN (6.3.4)
(I) [a} Replacing overburden is conducted continuously as part of
nonnai quarry operations, Estimated depths will vary
between 1 ft and 20 ft. (see F~:}u-bit C (1} [c] )
(1) [b] The slope of the proposed site currently ranges from 5% to
55% (Non-Technical Soil Description, Exhibit B ).
Gradient used for reclaimed slopes will be 3:1 were the
original scopes support. Gradients of greater than 3:1 will
be used only in areas where the original slopes aze in
excess 3:1, never to exceed the original slopes maximum of
55%. The intent is to return slopes to their original gradient
at reciamafion.
(i) [c] {I} {II} The fast 12 inches of soil consists of very stony loamy fine
sand (see Exhibit B }. Because this material is primarily
rock and sand, it does nat support significant vegetation.
Revegetatioa will occur using the methods and materials
detailed in the Boulder County Planning Publications
entitled "Revegetation" and "Native Mountain Grasses,"
attached. The intended future use for the area is rangeland,
with limited vegetation.
(1) [c} {iii} Ponderosa pines Qn 10/acre.
(lj [c] {vi} Manual planting of trees @ 101acre.
(1) [d] Roads wilt remain after reclamation. Ponds, streams, or
buildings are not affected by quarry operations (see Exhibit
E ).
(1) {e} The only byproduct of quarry operations is incidental waste
rock, that will be stored and used as fill for reclamation
P~~•
T-BONE STONE
04!21/04
Page I of 1
