Exhibit C
CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
LIMITED IMPACT (I10) OPERATION
RECLAMATION PERMIT PACKAGE
T-BONE STONE (APPLICANT)
EXHIBIT C- MINING PLAN (6.3.3)
(1) [a) Quarry operations will commence at the time of permit approval. Quarry
operations are expected to last a minimum of 50 years. The proposed
operations are expected to be continuous. The intermittent operations rule
does not apply.
(l) jb) The material located in the first 12 inches of depth is very stony loamy
fine sand, as described in the Non-Technical Soil Description (Soil
Survey Area C0643), as provided by the Soil Conservation Service (see
Exhibit B ). This material is primarily rock and does not require
stabilization and will only support limited vegetative cover. The material
is used as backfill for quarry operations and will be applied to the area
continuously dwing operations and for reclamation.
(I) [c] The amount of waste rock is expected to vary in depth from 1 fr. to 20 ft.
to reach the desired rock deposits. Waste rock will be stored within the
permitted area. (see exhibit E )
(1) [d] Subsurface conditions aze not known at this time, but the conditions
found in neighboring quarries indicate the depth may meet or exceed
100ft.
(1) [e] .The major components of the proposed operations consist o£ quarry
excavation in and product (stone) transportation from T$S #1 and TBS
#2 using existing roads, rock re-sizing (using a stone cutting machine) to
suit construction material requirements, and stone inventory storage. The
stone cutter and the inventory storage will be located in TBS #3.
(1) [f] See exhibit E, proposed permit azea boundaries.
(1) [g) Existing roads aze single-lane, dirt/rough surface roads. These roads can
be smoothed to allow easier vehicle access. The existing road dimensions
aze not expected to vary significantly with any improvements. Drainage
or runoff conveyance structures will not be necessary for any of the
proposed improvements.

T-BONE STONE
04/12/04
