• AREA 17 <br />COARSE ORE GULCH <br />Area 17 is divided into 3 subareas: <br />17a - No Work Scheduled <br />17b -Guard Pond Disturbance <br />17c - Surface Conveyor Disturbance <br />1982 Activity <br />Subarea 17b -Permanent reclamation of 5 acres of steep slopes by re- <br />placement of topsoil and revegetation by Technique 1. <br />Subarea 17c -Permanent reclamation of 5.1 acres of semi-steep slopes <br />by replacement of topsoil and revegetation by Technique 2. <br />1983 Activity <br />Subarea 17b - Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 1.2 acres of semi-steep <br />• slopes using Technique 3, and fertilizing 5 acres using 200 lbs/acre of 33-0-0 <br />fertilizer. This includes reseeding up to 25% of 1982 revegetation work, depend- <br />ing upon the success of previous plantings. <br />Subarea 17c - Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 1.3 acres of semi-steep <br />slopes using Technique 2 and fertilizing 5.2 acres using 200 lbs/acre of 33-0-0 <br />fertilizer. This includes reseeding up to 25% of 1982 revegetation work, depend- <br />ing upon the success of previous plantings. <br />1984 Activity <br />Subarea l7b -Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 0.5 acres of semi-steep <br />slopes using Technique 3 and fertilizing 5 acres using 200 lbs/acre of 33-0-0 <br />fertilizer.
