AREA 10 <br />UPPER DAVIS GULCH <br />Area 10 is divided into 4 subareas: <br />l0a - Construction Water Pipeline <br />lOb -Side Slopes <br />lOc - Road Cut/Fill Slopes and Other Disturbances <br />lOd - Topsoil Storage Areas <br />1982 Activity <br />Subarea l0a - Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 1 acre of steep <br />slopes using Technique 1 and 3 acres of semi-steep slopes by Technique 3. <br />Subarea lOc -Permanent reclamation by replacement of topsoil and re- <br />vegetation of 1 acre of mild slope by Technique 4 and 1 acre of semi-steep <br />slopes using Technique 3. <br />• Subarea lOd - Interim stabilization by revegetation of 2 acres of semi- <br />steep slopes using Technique 3 and 6 acres of mild slope by Technique 4. <br />1983 Activity <br />Subarea l0a - Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 0.5 acres of steep <br />slopes by Technique 1, 1 acre of semi-steep slopes using Technique 3, and <br />fertilizing 4 acres using 200 lbs/acre of 33-0-0 fertilizer. This includes <br />reseeding up to 33% of 1982 revegetation work, depending upon the success of <br />previous plantings. <br />Subarea lOc -Permanent reclamation by revegetation of 2 acres of semi-steep <br />slopes using Technique 3, 5 acres of mild slope by Technique 4, and fertilizing <br />5 acres using 200 lbs/acre of 33-0-0 fertilizer. This includes reseeding up to <br />• 40% of 1982 revegetation work, depending upon the success of previous plantings. <br />The crossing at the north end of Upper Davis Gulch will be removed and revegetated. <br />PD 1000.102 A20 <br />
