+ L i '~
Energy Fuels and DMG ate currently discussing the request for bond release, including
requirements for post-mining drainage control. Energy Fuels will amend this plan concerning post-mining
stormwater control pending approval from DMG. I
c. Preventive Maintenance I II
i
Maintenance of stormwater devices for the facility involves controlling erosion and providing
adequate storm event capacity in the sumps and containment ditch. Energy Fuels schedules drainage control
maintenance work on a monWly basis. Erosion protection is accomplished by maintaining vegetative cover
and periodic grading of surface areas. Sediment sumps ere cleaned-out es dictated by the frequencyof
precipitation events.
i .
d. Housekeeoine
Housekeeping procedures are accomplished during the maintenance schedule described above, or
more frequently if necessary. Given that the operation is in permanent cessation, and the fact that materials
and trash are seldom used or generated at the facility, housekeeping is generally limited to maintaining
drainage and sediment control structures.
7. Comprehensive Inspection
All areas identified by the SWMP will be inspected quarterly by Energy Fuels personnel referenced
above or other qualified individual under their direction. If said inspections detect deficiencies in stormwtiter
control devices, or shows the plan to be inappropriate or ineffective in any area, remedial actions willjbe
identified and implemented. Documentation of inspections, and any remedial actions, will be maintained and
made available for inspection at the mine office. ~
An annual report will be submitted which documents the field inspections and summarizes apy
remedial work completed or planned.
R. Recordkeepine and internal Reportine Procedures
Quarterly inspection reports will be reviewed by SVVIviP administrators and filed with the SWMP
and available for review by inspectors at the mine office. Any documentation of remedial wont or identified
plan deficiencies will be kept in the SWMP file. ', ~
i i
9. Consistency with Other Plans I
Designs for drainage and sediment control structures addressed in this plan have bees reviewed' end
approved by the DMG and made part of permit application. i
`',,
t ~ ~.
,' ~ ~ ~y M1~'+1y '~'~
'. t ..
i
I' ~
i
~'I
,~`~Ir

N
P
~.
t
Ip'[
