I have summarized
what I think are the regulations pertinent to inspection at the mine. Please review the
attached guidelines and let me know if I need to add or delete anything from these. I will
give a copy to Jim Delusio and ask for his cooperation in notifying me during the critical
construction stages and abiding by these guidelines.
I think it would be a good idea if you, Jim, others at the mine and I had a clear
understanding of when the inspections should take place and what should be inspected and
reported. I hope these guidelines will achieve this.
My first inspection will be this month, December 1992. Subsequent inspections will be
made quarterly on 3193, 6193, 9193 and again in December of 1993 and so on, or more
frequently as required by the construction schedule and as outlined in my guidelines.
Sincerely,
~~~
DCCCo/n R.
