?FINED 1~ WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATIO~Revised)
for limited impact and select regular mine applications
The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land
Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for:
Rf1THFR f:RAV F.1. PIT /
wildlife Species list:
i Gravel Pit /
and Location
SEC. 18, T17S, R44W
al)
Pronghorn Coyote - .. .
Deer (?) Swift Fox
Pheasant (?) Because the pit is located on the
side of a hill where rainwater can collect and provide ground moisture I recommend the
establishment of brush thickets using Plum, Buffaloberry, Chokecherry, Wild Rose and
Sandhill Cherry ( in order of preference). A maintenance free system of planting the
move shrubs is described by Warren Snyder in the April-May 1983 issue of Colorado
Outdoors, a Division of Wildlife publication. Although not as effective as Shrub
p_antings, brush piles ,can be built to provide cover for wildlife.
.-z;zred gy: Bryant Will

___-:tted By: Ernest Kaska
-..-..s state.en[ is void
-._s analysis does not
Date: 7-31-85
Date: 7-31-85
if not processed within 1 year.
constitute approval of application. ~~H-2"
