Exhibit D <br />Grand County Road and Bridge <br />South Fork Gravel Pit <br />Reclamation Plan <br />1: Pit reclamation shall be done in accordance with the following requirements: <br />a. Cut slopes shall be graded to a 2:1 slope, as shown on the Reclamation Plan <br />Map O;xhibitD-1) <br />b. Upon completion of crushing operations, stockpiled topsoil shall be <br />distributed over the excavated slopes in a uniform manner.. The excavated <br />slopes shall be seeded, mulched and fertilized during the fall or spring <br />following completion of excavating and crushing operations.. <br />c. Upon removal of all stockpiled materiat and equipment the pit floor shall be <br />scarified to a depth of 4" in preparation for covering with topsoil, seed and <br />mulch. Seeding of the pit floor shall occur during the fall or following spring. <br />d. An appropriate seed mix, application rate, and fertilizer will be specified by <br />the Forest Service when seeding activity is due to occur. <br />e. Upon complete closure of the pit, the access road will be scarified, seeded, <br />mulched, acrd effectively closed to public use. <br />
