• Introduction <br />Peabody Coal Company constructed a coal haulage road between Routt County Road 53 and the <br />Hayden Station Power Plant during 7989. Easements and/or Special Use Permits were <br />obtained from the various land owners. A porn cn of the road had already been constructed <br />from Road 53 to the Hayden-Gulch Mine fipple (W. R. Lrace). Peabody Coal Company tied this <br />existing road with [heir construction. the inters ecrion of [he N-G road and Peabody's is <br />at approximately the NE corner of Section 22, TbN, R88w'. Exhibit 3-4 shoos the various <br />easements antl adjacent land oune rs. Pea hotly Coal Company transferred all surface <br />ownership [o Seneca Ceaf Company on July 1, 1994.
