Discharge may result in minor seeps or springs or may be lost to evaporation and transpiration at or
near the point of discharge. With the rugged terrain in the area and the natural occurrence of
relatively heave yroeta tinn in the deep Arainage valleys, enure Seepe and epr_nge may egjet in valley

bottoms or on side-slopes which have not been located or identified, however, a reasonable effort has
been made to locate seeps ox springs in the areas overlying the existing and proposed underground
mine workings. The following lists those seeps or springs identified through field reconnaissance
efforts, with seep and spring locations shown on the Ground Water Hydrology Map, (Map 2.04-MS):

and pond summary for the Elk Creek Goal Lease Tract. None of the identified sites aze adjudicated
ground or surface water rights in accordance with Colorado water rights statutes.
