24HS-01 through 24HS-03 Wells Project Plan
Minor Revision 319
RECLAMATION PLAN
Reclamation of the pad will follow when it is decided by MCC that the drill hole(s) are
not performing their intended purpose.
1. Upon completion of each phase of activity at a given site, all debris, trash, and
drilling related equipment, will be removed from the site.
2. When the mud pit or pits aze sufficiently dry, they will be filled with stored
sub-soil material and compacted to minimize any settling.
3. A backhoe and a bulldozer will redistribute material on and around the drill
pad to achieve as closely as practicable the original contour of the site. The
area will then be ripped or scarified.
4. Stored topsoil will be distributed as evenly as possible over the disturbed pad
area.
5. The entire drill pad area and reclaimed roads will be re-seeded using the
USFS/CDMG-agreed seed mix (described below) for reclamation purposes on
National Forest Service lands (correspondence regarding MCC 2005 Annual
Operating Plan dated May 13, 2005 from Levi Broyles, USFS to Mike
Peacock, MCC).
USFS/CDMG-Agreed Seed Mix --Mountain Shrub Habitat Type
Species PLS (Ib/acrel % Of Mix
Mountain bromeerass 3 14
Prairie iuneerass 2 10
Western wheaterass 4 19
Indian riceerass 3 14
Sandbure blueerass 3 14
Bluebunch wheaterass 3 14
Erreeron soeciosus l (aooroximatel 5
CoreoDSis lanceolata l (aooroximatel 5
Thermonsis montana 1 (aooroximatel 5
Total 20 l00
