_ TRINIDAD RAS1N MINING, 1NL'.
I SEDIMENT FOND CERTIFICA710N REPORT
8. Sediment Fond: 22-F'4
A) Comments:
This pond was e>;panded during the April, 1985 work period
so that all other ponds in the F'it 1 drainage could be
eliminated. From detailed inspection of the site, it was
found that the southernmost reclaimed pit area had
revegetated well and that it was unnecesssary to direct
this water into the sediment pond. A minor revision
request is submitted separately which describes the change
in detail. Fond 22-F4 was nevertheless constructed as
designed.
R) Design Basis for Certification:
Revision to Surface Hydrology Designs submitted by Panorama
Resource Services, Inc. on Uctaber c^9, 1984.
C) Constructed Elevations:
The elevations listed below were checked with a precision
level and stadia rod:
Dewatering Pipe Inlet
Dewatering Pipe Uutlet
Top of Dam
Rottom of Spillway
Toe of Dam
Rottom of Fond
The dam location was much wider than that shown in the
design. phis allowed the dam height to be lessened while
maintaining adequate pond volume. Constructed elevations
are not shown in the design but are adequate for pond
performance.
D) Rottom Width of Spillway
Design: 5.0 feet
Measured: 5.' feet.
22
