1

' EXHIBIT D
MINING PLAN AND TIMETABLE
' Location. The proposed site is located two miles east of
' Interstate Highway 25 and a mile north of State Highway 119.
The location is approximately 8 miles east of Longmont, Colorado.
' Mining activity will occur on the north and south sides of St. Vrain
Creek.
1 History. In August 1973 the surface and mineral rights
' to all of the property, except for the minerals owned by the
State of Colorado in the E/2 SE/4 of Section 36, T3N, R68W, were
' purchased by J-Bar-B, Inc. In April 1984 the State Board of
Land Commissioners issued a permit to mine state minerals underlying
' the E/2 SE/4, Section 36, the surface of which is owned by J-Bar-B,
' Inc.
Current Conditions. Map Exhibit C shows the outline of
' the affected land, touching landowners, topography, hydrologic
factors and existing facilities. A small part of the property
' is occupied by a farmhouse and outbuildings; the remainder is
' irrigated land on the south one-third and creek bottom on the
northern two-thirds. Various areas in the northern part are
' cultivated from time to time.
Three gas lines, two operated by Colorado Interstate Gas
' Company and one operated by Panhandle Eastern Gas Company, cross
' the property on rights of way as shown on the map exhibit (also
see Appendix, "Gas Production Pipelines").
1
' S
