Exhibit "E" <br />Reclamation Plan <br />6.4.5 The Reclamation Plan for the BIG "G" GRAVEL PIT is as follows (Please also <br />see map). <br />(1) The Operation/Applicant has prepared a reclamation plan that addresses the <br />(ollowmg items; final grading, which rncludes drainage, seeding, fertilinng, vegetaUOn. <br />and topsoiling. The plan is based on the Reclamation Plan submitted by RICHARD <br />RHODES District Conservationist of the Pueblo field office of the NRCS His plan is <br />incorporated rn this apphcaLon package m Exhibit "J" <br />(2) This Reclamation plan includes provisions for all the general Requirements for <br />this mine site to be restored to a post mining use of Rangeland. To accomplish this <br />the side slopes will be graded to 3 horizontal to 1 vertical (3H 1 V) or flatter. The <br />affected lands will be planted with grass that the NRCS has Recommended, topsoil <br />will be replaced at a rate of 1" to 6" <br />(a) The operatorlapplicant will reclaim this mine site back to Rangeland as the <br />landowner duected This site is on a working Ranch and after mirnng is <br />completed the land will be use for cattle grazing, and the haul roads will be left for <br />use by the landowner on the ranch <br />The earth moving will be done by dozer and front-end loaders and the side slopes <br />will be mine at a 3H 1V gradient or flatter to facilitate reclamation, when using farm <br />equipment to prepare the seedbed and grass seeding The land shaping of the <br />affected area will be done in such a manner as to enhance the surrounding <br />rangeland. To accomplish this stormwater will be managed to prevent erosion <br />and promote vegetation growth. <br />(b) As stated before the proposed post-mining land use will tie Rangeland to be <br />consistent with the surrounding lands which are Rangeland. The NRCS <br />Reclamation plan will be implemented to the affected area. This is consistent with <br />the landowner ranching operation. <br />
