During our discussion, it bccame
sppercnt that there may have been some misunderstanding about the location and extent
of the proposed Boyer Gravel Pit site (the subject of the letter and field visit.)
Consequently, you indicated that it would be appropriate for Corps of Engineers staff to
visit the site again, so that the presence of waters of the United States and the related
identification of Corps of Engineers jurisdictional waters and wetlands over the wmplete
site could be re-evaluated. As you explained, this is a key element in the determination
of potential permit requirements under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
I would be gatefitI if you could send me your fndirgs and espies of ary cot*espondenec
and documentation related to the upcoming site visit and site evaluation.
Thanks, again, for your hdp in this matter.
Sincerely,
~,,,~i~
John H, Gcrstle
hydrosphere Resource Consultants, Inc.
• ..
_ _ _ _. _ _
}r r, .. .: . .~;. .;.^..~ ~ ~.~,., Lli-`.;;'?~ 1~78'~i ~.:.'3 .'`~. . ...,~Ai .Q?,'•+•13';'~~i • TC'I~J~1.11$l~tSl R3a•24r1rJ
