Z~Q/R~/~' ~ ~~
Dear Kent:

This document is the most recent certification of the sediment pond at the Rimrock
Mine.
I am a certified professional engineer in the State of Colorado with experience in the
Eastern and Western United States in the design, construction and operation of
sediment ponds, mine hydrology systems and slope stability of embankments.
A site inspection was conducted on June 30, 2001. The sediment pond was dry and the
site was also very dry. It was evident that cattle had grazed within the mine reclaimed
area since the last inspection but were not present at the time of this inspection.
Grazing was fair to heavy. There was considerable fanweed on the dam and the
reclaimed area. It is not a noxious weed.
Sincerely yours,
~+G
Greg Lewicki, P.E.
Greg Lewicki and Associates
