Revised May, 1984 <br />• the disturbed land by five fold. The overall carrying capacity of <br />the five pastures will increase by 64X over the premine production. <br />The south pasture will be increased by 52X over the premine capacity <br />due to [he conversion of approximately 75 acres to revegetated, <br />reclaimed land. Postmining management will remain the same as the <br />premining management. Pastureland management presented in this <br />section was based in part on communication with local operators and <br />the local office of the Soil Conservation Service. A letter from <br />the Soil Conservation Service Office describing the management <br />practices in the vicinity of the mine is attached in Exhibit 23a. <br />(b) A narrative of land capability and productivity which <br />• analyzes the land use description under 2.04.3(2) in conjunction with the <br />other environmental resources information required under 2.04.3.
