• reduced forma is pyritic sulfur, which includes the iron sulfides,
pyrite and marcasite.
A total of 50 overburden samples were collected and analyzed
from the following holes: 008-78-7, 008-78-8, 008-78-9, 008-78-14
and 008-78-15. Locations of these holes are ahovn on Map 2, Mine
No. 3 Geology. An analysis was performed for determination of
values for the 32 parameters Listed in Table 2, Overburden Analysis
List. These values are presented in Table 4, Overburden Chemical
Data. A statistical description of these data, presented in Table
1, Statistical Description of Overburden Chemical Data, includes
mean, standard deviation, standard error of mean, coefficient of
variation, minimum, maximum, range and frequency for each parameter.
• This statistical description shows that the data are reliable, are
distributed over an acceptable range and are of a sufficient nimber
to adequately represent the chemical quality of the overburden.
A chemical analysis of the Wadge Seam, including sulfur forms,
is presented in Table 3, Wadge Coal Seam Analysis. Sulfur forms
were run on the coal seam since they were more useful than analyzing
for sulfur, pyrite and marcasite.
r~
L
2.04-35
