1. <br />G <br />• 2.05.5 Post-Mining Land Use <br />The post-mining land use will be for agriculture/rangeland and wildlife habitat. This use <br />remains the same as pre-mining and existing land uses. The proposed reclamation plan <br />will achieve this without supplemental activities. This use is consistent with the desires <br />of the surface owners, and is applicable to local and state land use programs. No long- <br />term facilities, other than the sediment retention pond and pre-mine existing roads, will <br />remain after reclamation is complete. <br />Due to the small size of the operation, supplemental management activities are not <br />expected to be necessary. Reclamation of disturbed areas, sealing of abandoned mine <br />workings, elimination of old gob piles and abandoned mine structures should result in <br />. land less hazardous and of higher productivity without negative impacts on wildlife, air <br />or water quality.
