9. Municipalities. Town of Milliken, 101 Broad St. ,Drawer 290, Milliken CO 80543
10. Pipelines. We will commit to reach agreement with owners of the lines before any
activity with the 200' limit. If such agreement cannot be reached we will move
mining limit to maintain 200' clearance.
] 1. Fences. The fences on North & South are shazed property line fences although the
South fence is not on line and needs [o be moved. We will reach agreement on these
fences before any mining activity within 200'.
Inspection report items.
Roadway. The existing roadway within site will be shown on pre- mining and mining
map. On reclamation map we will show maintenance road and trail corridor. Maps
should be ready by July 19, 2002.
Weed control. Exhibit E reclamation plan refers to general methods of weed control.
Walking surveys of the area will be conducted regulazly during the growing season. Upon
identification of noxious weeds, steps will be taken for control before seeds are
developed. In areas currently used as pasture, mowing will be used to control most of the
weeds. in the sensitive areas and terrain too rough for mowing a combination of
mechanical removal (hand shovel) and chemical means (non-selective non-sterilizing
herbicide such as Roundup wick or spray applied) will be used. This plan will be non-
selective in areas that will eventually have topsoil removed and selective in sensitive and
wetland areas to avoid damage to native plant species that may be growing.
I will keep you informed of any changes in schedule for providing the edited maps, water
related reports, and NPDES permit application.
Sincerely
~ ~ ~
Bob Condon
