Len, a registered professional engineer, registry number 25750, in the state of Colorado, <br />certify [hat the EMD Bleeder Shaft Access Road was surfaced in accordance with our <br />recommendations outlined in Exhibit 25K The contractor surfaced approximately 700 lineal fee[ of <br />roadway. The portion of the roadway resurfaced started a[ [he intersection with Rout[ County Road <br />#33 and terminated just west of the ventilation shaft. <br />We inspected [be subject roadway on November 2S, 1996 to verify that the gravels were placed and <br />compacted to at least 95% of the modified Proctor density determined in accordance with ASTM <br />D15S7. We also verified that the contractor had placed the requ'ved amount of gravels, 14 inches. In <br />fact the contractor had placed 1S to IS inches of pit run sand and gravels over a layer of geotextile <br />fabric.
