The results of this inventory are consistent with those of previous cultural
resource inventories in the area (e.g., Chandler and Nickens 1979a, 1979b), in terms
of the low prehistoric site density on the west side of Red Wash. The site and iso-
lates found during this inventory do indicate, however, that the area was occupied
prehistorically, at least on a transitory basis.
The primary objectives of this archaeological survey have been successfully
met. All cultural resources located within areas of planned mine developpment have
been located, documented, and evaluated. With the exception of site SRB3451 for
which management options have been addressed above, no further archaeological
work is recommended within the project area prior to project development.
