• The soil pit descriptions, surface vegetation, and topographic relief suggest that the <br />existing AVF boundary should be relocated approximately 200 feet south east of soil pit <br />#3 as shown on Exhibit 1. The ventilation shaft facility and access road could be located <br />anywhere along this corridor north west of soil pit #3 without af7ecting AVF soils. With <br />this suggested modification to the AVF boundary, the 100 foot wide access road corridor <br />will potentially affect 1,400 linear feet oC AVF. This will result in approximately 3.2 <br />acres of AVF affected byroad construction activities. TMCC's road construction designs <br />include placing geotextile Cabric over the AVF soils, will significantly reduce the impacts <br />to these soils. <br /> <br />• <br />
