PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Silt Sand & Gravel, LLC, 0304 Highway 133, Carbondale, CO 81623, (970) 963-2296, <br />has filed an application for a Regular (112) Construction Materials Operation <br />Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions <br />of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The <br />proposed project is known as the Grand River Park and is located within Section 9, <br />Township 6 South, Range 92 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The proposed date of commencement is summer 2006 and the proposed date of <br />completion is 2018. The proposed future use of the land is recreation. Additional <br />information and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866- <br />3567; or at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office, 109 8th Street, Suite 200 <br />Glenwood Springs CO 81601, {970) 945-2377 Ext. 1760; or the above-named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology by 4:00 p.m, on Julv 10.2006. <br />Please nofe that under the provisions of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et se .Comments related <br />to noise, fruck traffic, hours of operation, visual impacts, effects on property values and <br />other social or economic concerns are issues not subject to this Office's jurisdiction. <br />These subjects, and similar ones, are typically addressed by your local governments, <br />rather than the Division of Minerals and Geology or the Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />
