<br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company <br />June 24, 1985 <br />T0: Mike Kondelis <br />FROM: Rick Hofmann <br />SUBJECT: FIELD - DENSITY TESTING OF TCC ACCESS HAULROAD (CYCC PROTION <br />The field-density testing has been completed on the small (Approx. 120') <br />stretch of road connecting Twenty Mile Coal Company with our main haul road. <br />Three separate tests were conducted using the balloon method and equipment <br />which conform to ASTM D-2167-66. A sketch of the area and test-hole locations <br />are provided on attachment "A". <br />• For the purpose of calculating percent proctor values, I referenced the <br />curve determined last March by Randall & Associates, Inc. (sample No. 4) for <br />Twenty Mile Coal Company.
