EXHIBIT S
PERMANENT AND MAN-MADE STRUCTURES
The list on the next page represents the permanent man-made
structures within 200 feet of or within the mining areas. Some
offsite structures are within 200 feet of the permit area but not
within 200 feet of an area to be mined. These structures are so
noted on the list with a * behind them. As the limits of mine
are reached, the slopes will be mined 3h to lv the surface to the
mine floor so no sloping will be necessary when reclamation
begins. Along the property line the setback will be 25 feet;
along Powerline ROWS the dig-line will start 5 feet from the ROW
line. our plan to mine the slopes at their final rate adjacent
to any structure will eliminate any chance that these structures
will be affected by mining. See the Geotechnical Stability
Exhibit of analysis concerning slope stability and mining set-
backs.
The Vail ditch lies west of County Road 60 and is not on the
site. This ditch parallels the county road until it crosses at a
culvert near the southwest corner of the permit area. The floor
of the mine will be above the top of the ditch so it will not be
impacted by mining.
43
