Total area permitted = 117 Acres ± <br />~, ..... <br />Id1N~l~~# ~5~~" <br />Area No. 1 - This area is being mined in accordance with the City of <br />Golden's specifications for a water storage facility. <br />Generally, the slopes will be 2:1 to the water elevation <br />and 3:1 below water level. The red boundary outlines <br />the mining limits. During the next 10 - 15 years, <br />mining will be concentrated on the south bank with the <br />mining advancing from east to west. Reclamation <br />requirements consist of topsoil and seeding from water <br />elevation to the top of the slope. Approximate size of <br />this area is 45 acres; the approximate area to be <br />reclaimed is 15 acres. <br />Area No. 2 - This area will not be mined. It will become a dam for <br />Golden's water storage facility. The approximate size <br />of the area is 20 acres. No reclamation is required. <br />Area No.. 3 - This area is not part of our lease. It is occupied by <br />Emrick and Hill for the purpose of storing explosives. <br />Area No. 4 - This area will be mined after area No. 1 is completed. <br />It too will become a water storage facility for the City <br />of Golden.
