Colorado 80203 <br />At your request, this office has conducted a search of the Colorado Inventory of <br />Cultural Resources with the following results: <br />( ) There are no documented cultural properties in the area of impact of the <br />proposed undertaking. Our records indicate: <br />( ) no cultural resource surveys have been conducted <br />in the proposed project area. <br />( ) cultural resource surveys have been conducted in the proposed <br />project area. Information from the survey reports is attached. <br />u <br /> <br />( xlj Information* regarding previously documented resources in these areas is <br />attached. These resources have not been evaluated for inclusion in the <br />National Register of Historic Places. Until a formal determination of <br />eligibility has been completed, however, they must be considered to be <br />eligible for inclusion in the National Register. <br />( ) Information* regarding cultural resources pending nomination to or listed on <br />the National Register of Historic Places in the proposed project area is attached. <br />Our files contain incomplete information for this area as most of Colorado has not been <br />inventoried for cultural resources. There is the possibility that as yet unidentified <br />cultural resources exist within the proposed impact area. <br />Therefore, in the event there is Federal or State involvement, we recommend that a pro- <br />fessional survey be conducted to identify any cultural resources in the project area which <br />are eligible to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We look <br />forward to consulting with you regarding the effect of the proposed project on any <br />eligible cultural resource in accordance with the Advisory Council on Historic Preserva- <br />tion Procedures for the Preservation and Protection of Historic and Cultural Resources <br />(36 CFR 800).
