We request that your department keep
us informed into the future of any actions related to this proposed mine. We also request that
your department keep us informed on a regular basis of any and all proposed activities within
Fremont County along the river corridor.
We have serious concerns about this proposal and its potentially severe impacts to recreation and
tourism activities in Fremont County. We offer comments on the following pages that highlight our
initial concerns. More detailed and complete information on the proposal would allow us to feel more
comfortable with our response, and perhaps with the proposal.
We will be attending the Fremont Planning and Zoning Commission's next meeting to voice these
concerns as well. If commission members wish to discuss these concerns with us please call us at any
time.
Sincerely,
~z~
F°e Dave Taliaferro
BLM River Manager
S~
Steve Reese
State Panic Manager
Deve T~liefemo Ql9) 539-7289 - Smve Reeu
Rives Mwgu FAX: (119) 579-]T71 Petk M.mea
